TCP Multi-Purpose Silicone Sealant

TCP Multi-purpose Silicone is an acetoxy-cure silicone sealant for suitable smooth, non-porous surfaces. Silicone mastic forms a flexible seal around joints; it is different from a structural adhesive, and the surface and joint conditions matter when choosing a product.

The TCP datasheet lists applications around baths, showers, basins and sanitary fittings, as well as selected aluminium, metal, PVC trim and laminate joints. For a bathroom, window or finishing project in Ghana, check that both surfaces are compatible with this acetoxy formulation before use.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, loose coatings and old sealant. The datasheet excludes bitumen, asphalt and substrates that release oils, solvents or plasticisers. Follow the technical sheet for preparation and application; curing depends on temperature, humidity and bead thickness.
